The Mirror and the Mask
Museo Casa Natal Picasso
At the centre of his 2017 series of drawings, "PRP The Last Portrait" is Roig's artistic exploration of the last two self-portraits Picasso created: : "Self-Portrait, 30 June 1972" and "Figura, 2 July 1972“. This presentation at Museo Casa Natal Picasso is also the starting point for the exhibition project.

The Labyrinth of Light and the Minotaur
Centre Pompidou Málaga
Bernardi Roig's installation at the Centre Pompidou Málaga, is dedicated to the subject of the Minotaur, the hybrid creature from Greek mythology that Picasso used in numerous depictions. Roig transfers this idea into his formal language and links it to myths of the ancient Talayotic culture of the Balearic Islands.
