The starting point of this exhibition is marked by several pieces of ancient art, to juxtapose with the works of the contemporary artists Leiko Ikemura, Qiu Shihua, Evelyn Taocheng Wang, Kimsooja, and Yu Duan. At the same time, it succeeds in highlighting the mutual influences and tracing lines of development.
'Horizons' shows how tradition develops and evolves to become part of the new threads of globalisation, emphasising the international role played by Contemporary East Asia art.
