Curated by Per Haubro Jensen, together with Annette Johansen and Siri Buric, this unprecedentedly large exhibition emphasises the interplay of architectural space, colours, and surroundings.

Including also drawings and paintings, Material World makes the viewer experience an encounter in time and space between two artists, Sean Scully and Bertel Thorvaldsen. Both endeavour primary human emotions, a journey from the physical to the spiritual dimension, shaped into universal imagery.
