Cabrita's most important painting exhibition to date, 'Cabinet d'amateur', was curated by Helena Juncosa and consists of more than 250 paintings that cover the forty years of Cabrita's career as a painter, from the eighties to the present day. The show is conceived as one single work, without beginning or end, based on the various references included in the pictorial work.

‘A Roving Gaze' takes place exactly 20 years after Cabrita's first exhibition at Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art. It presents one single large-scale installation which has been specifically conceived for the architecture on site, focusing on the artist’s reflection on the role of museums.

Cabrita / Cerith Wyn Evans: The Mudam Collection and Pinault Collection in Dialogue is the second chapter of the collaboration between both institutions. Cabrita's installation 'À propos des lieux d’origine #1' (2005) is presented at Mudam together with a work by Cerith Wyn Evans.
