In its second summer exhibition at the Museé d'Art moderne de Fontevraud, Elger Esser's copper photographs enter into a dialogue with a selection of Rembrandt van Rijn's etchings.
These works, installed opposite each other, raise the question of how images are made, through technical experimentation, the printing process, format and composition. Thus, the viewer perceives the capacity of contemporary artistic expression to resonate with the great artists of art history.
