This exhibition celebrates an artist who profoundly reshaped the dynamic between art and its audience. Curated by Luigia Lonardelli, the project “Notte” delves into Jannis Kounelli’s research, emphasizing its deep connection with theatre and performative actions.

The centerpiece of the exhibition, titled "Senza titolo (Notte)", reflects Kounellis’ early alphabet experiments from the 1950s and narrates the artist’s intentional departure from any hierarchical visual structure. The letters, reminiscent of moving limbs, gracefully oscillate in space, inviting interpretation while being appreciated as pure symbols.
