JOHANNA DUMET – THE FLOWERS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD
ARTIST BOOK
Johanna Dumet collected 185 distinct wildflowers from April to November 2023. The artist dedicated countless hours to exploring paths in France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, and England, walking many kilometers and encountering numerous people along the way.
These little plants are traditionally considered less presentable or unworthy of depiction, but Dumet gives them a strong presence through her passionate painting. Now, they are compiled in an artist's book titled The Flowers on the Side of the Road.
