The juxtaposition of the two positions makes it clear that both artists, while sharing the same life, have developed their very own approaches and artistic languages. Liliane Tomasko’s emotional landscapes of interlacing lines and layers originate from domestic motifs like the unmade bed but result in a universal experience. Sean Scully will be premiering his black paintings which he created during the pandemic. They are exhibited along with a group of figurative paintings as well as a sculpture made of Murano glass.
