The Galleria Edizioni Periferia, in collaboration with the Tichý Ocean Foundation presents the exhibition SCREENSHOTS. Transcending Tichý’s renowned photographs, the show offers the opportunity to delve into his world by revealing a selection of his drawings and paintings.
During the 1970s and 1980s, Tichý captured images from his television screen. In Kyjov near the Austrian border, he managed to bypass the confines and restrictions of Eastern Block.
