Leiko Ikemura was awarded the Art Encouragement Prize from the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology on the occasion of her exhibition ‘Our Planet. Earth & Stars‘ at the National Art Center Tokyo in 2019.
