The Chilean artist explores themes of gender, sexuality, cultural reflections, and spiritual practices. She confronts these topics with societal archetypes and taboos. Using dreams, the subconscious, and memories, Vásquez de la Horra crafts a poetic visual world blending the imaginary and the real, focusing particularly on human existence, especially women and the female body. Through her art, the unknown becomes tangible, transforming into images and forms that reflect a deeper understanding of these themes.
