Sean Scully has conceived new site-specific works for Waldfrieden Sculpture Park in dialogue with the surrounding landscape. A series of sculptures up to five metres high are dotted about the fourteen hectares of verdant woodland.
As a consequence of the current limitations of the Corona Pandemic, the exhibition project is to be developed in stages. Some sculptures of which completion has been delayed due to the Corona lockdown will be added to the site in an ongoing process between June and September. This way, the public will have the opportunity to follow the evolution of this unique exhibition project, which is scheduled to be completed in early fall.
