KEWENIG is pleased to present the exhibition by the German artist Hendrik Krawen (born in Lübeck, Germany, in 1963), which inaugurates on the occasion of the Nit de l' Art. The selected pieces comprising " Dilema Perdido " represent some of the artist's most recent work.

Krawen connects various motifs or themes together, seeking pluralism in terms of expression, pictorial concepts and uses of colour. His most characteristic work is presented on a solid background, which is almost always monochromatic. Here, he focuses graphic and architectural details, objects and individual figures, thereby creating de-contextualized landscapes, which are documentary in nature, mixed with elements of fiction.
