‘ESTO NOS SALVARÁ’ (This will save us) by Ghada Amer is a significant new outdoor garden installation developed for Valencia, Spain in collaboration with Galeria Ana Serratosa. Located along the picturesque Turia riverbed, this piece offers a striking contrast to the iconic Neo-Futurist architecture of Santiago Calatrava and Felix Candela that characterises the City of Arts and Sciences.

Amer draws our attention to a message in iron letters, shaping a seasonal vegetable garden and encouraging citizens to engage and contemplate the relationship we have to the earth and its role for our future. An exhibition at Galeria Ana Serratosa guides visitors further through the diverse languages expressed in Amer’s work.
