The monumental installation by Ghada Amer continues its journey to León, Guanajuato.
Through a large-scale intervention in the public space, the artist addresses one of the major social problems of our time: gender inequality. With “Hoy el 70% de los pobres en el mundo son mujeres” (Today 70% of the Poor in the World are Women), Amer reclaims these open spaces as socio-political platforms.
